And the live show continues...

Starting the episode, and I think everyone would agree with me, is the darkhorse of the competition. Renwick, singing "Araw Gabi", is so SEXY! That raspiness and angst - this rocker is out to compete with all his heart. No filters, no pretentions. Unassuming in all aspects. Renwick's experience as a band member showed in his performance. His command on stage is so impressive! Fistbump!

Fatima is so beautiful tonight! Singing "Limang Dipang Tao", it felt like it is an ASAP performance. She was great! Everything worked - her styling, the song, how she sang it and how she performed it. No words but SUPERB!

Last to perform is Rachel May with the song "Paano Na Kaya". You can definitely tell that she gave her all. She pushed herself. And I totally admire her for that. Keep it up girl!

After all the performances, and I based it on their performances this week alone, here's my personal ranking:

Zephanie is golden! The kid can definitely snatch the Idol Philippines title. Her clear voice singing "Paraiso" is her best so far. I'm telling you she is a tough contender. I don't know about you but I'm feeling this Sarah Geronimo-ish vibe on her. Talented yet charming and humble. And please STOP this thing about her nosejob. Don't take it against her. If that boosts her self-esteem and didn't hurt her bank account, by all her rights, who are we to question it. SO PLEASE!

This is the very first time that I saw a superconscious, uncomfortable and overthinking Miguel. Don't get me wrong, he sounded good singing "Kahit Ika'y Panaginip Lang" but he let the nerves got into him. He was given that moment but he looked really stiff. And when he heard his voice strained in the latter part of the song, he panicked. Nevertheless, it is still a good performance. But then again, good is not good in this stage of competition. I hope he get through.
