Everybody knows that I have so much love for Sheland! She's my favorite of this batch and she's my baby! But without bias at all, her rendition of "Tunay Na Ligaya" was above average. Her voice control is on point. She made me feel soooo good inside. I think that's Sheland's magic. Her positive vibes, her smile, her personality, her voice and perfomance that continues to improve and her fan support that is growing crazy, she is definitely on her way to the top. She is Jasmine Trias of this batch but even MORE! Her star quality is just undeniable!

Cringing for tomorrow's performances!

When I learned that Trish will be singing "Kailan", I was like "oh no!" The song is a teeny-bopper song which requires a lot of voice control and Trish's strength is her powerful voice. There is that disconnect or I say "challenge" already. At first I don't think Trish will nail it as I think she's a power belter and these type of songs is not for her. Surprisingly, she made it work. The arrangement made it work. Though I still think she struggled a bit in some parts of the song where it requires softness and vulnerability, but I guess the power that she brought to the song is SUPERB. I love it!

It is very visible that the nerves got into Matty in the first few parts of singing "Nais Ko". There's just no connection at all. I can say that he is overthinking that time as it shows in his face. But in the middle through the end of it, he managed to pull it off. He loose up a little bit and the Matty that we know came through. His personality shined again and ended with a blast. I just hope he never loose his spark.

PRESSURE is I think the best word for this week as the Idol hopefuls will get to sing compositions of our National Artist, living legend, Mr. Ryan Cayabyab.

What I like about Elle's performance singing "Paraisong Parisukat" is that I know that it is really Elle singing. Her own style just made her stood out AGAIN. Elle's voice is serene and such a treat to hear. It just proved that Elle can definitely sing any type of song without losing the Elle magic in it. She continue to grow in me. Still in my top 5!

It is so hard that you'll get to sing first in the live show on the Idol PH stage. You have all the pressure of setting the performance standard for the night. To add more pressure to it, it's Mr. C's, a Filipino National Artist, week. Even more pressure as you get to sing one of his most popular composition - and I think Mr. C's signature song - "Kay Ganda ng Ating Musika". But I am so glad that Lance chose this song. HE ROCKED IT! It fits his voice. Combined with his extraordinary performance, it left me breathless. Not exagerrating but I just feel proud of him because it felt like he is representing our country in an international singinging competition and he showed that voice unique to us, Filipinos. It is so good that he shaved as well because it will definitely help the Idolkadas to determine who is Lance and who is Matty. Excellent performance!

It is a genius move for Dan to bring his guitar while he performs "Tuwing Umuulan at Kapiling Ka". That voice! That was SO HOT! Hearing him going through the song felt like he

is slowly ravaging every part of me as if he was love-making on me all the way! He just set the mood. Forgive me but I'm so wet! I'm in HEAT! HOOOOHH!

I'm very critical when somebody will be singing my favorite Ryan Cayabyab song "Sometime Somewhere". My standard will always be Regine Velasquez and Erik Santos. Lucas didn't exceed my expectations as I think Erik Santos' version is still the version to beat for males but Lucas made his mark. I have no doubts that he will do great for a big song like this but the thing that saved him is that he gave a different flavor and he made it his own. His magic and his heart came across my tv screen. A performance that deserves a standing ovation. BRAVO Lucas!
