With all honesty, I like Fatima's performance. I don't know what's the disconnect that the judges are saying with her song choice "I'll Never Go" but I like it. I really do! I think she's still the most consistent yet still managed to always make me feel excited again and AGAIN.

First stop - Trish. Trish's voice singing of "Pagbigyang Muli" is so powerful. But the disconnect came from the arrangement itself! I don't like it. Not Trish, but the arrangement. Not good. NOT GOOD! She can be at the bottom 2.

But yes - Renwick and Trish were OUT of the competition. Their Idol journey ends tonight.

Dan's "Cool Off" performance is another killer. Dan is overhyped, yes. But he deserve the hype. He knows what he will do in the competition. He knows what tools to use to make the Idolkadas vote for him. His strategy is working! Keep it up. The hardwork is paying off.

I am an avid of the song "Hawak Kamay" and it is so refreshing to the ears that Renwick was the one who sang it. I love the raspiness of his voice and his emotions came through. It wasn't that great but a top 5 perfomance indeed.

I like Yeng Constantino. And moreso, I LOVE Erik Santos!!! Crushie since 2004; Star In A Million days and I believe he is still the balladeer to beat in the OPM industry. Not exagerrating. I'm just so happy that the Idol hopefuls will get to sing their songs.

What made Lance's performance forgiveable is his voice. For me, bad song choice. Well yes I understand that he can relate to "Ako Muna" song, but the connection that he wanted to build with his audience is not there. It's a no sorry.

IDOL PH 2ND LIVE SHOW: Unexpected

Miguel is the HOTTEST tonight! So much improvement from last week. "Kung Akin Ang Mundo" is a perfect song choice. And what I like about it is that he is now using all the he have to gain votes in the competition. I'M CRAVING FOR MORE!!!

Zephanie has this Sarah G vibe. She is so Sarah when Sarah is starting in the industry. The humility and the charm. This week, she chose a big song again - "Salamat". But this time, she stood up with the standards that the song demands. Good job girl!

"Lupa" sang by Lucas is a great performance. It was so great but boring! I know Lucas wanted to win this that he chooses songs that are big and can stretch his potentials but its too much for me. He is great indeed, but not to a point that I will vote him. I want the old Lucas back. Unconventional song choices yet making it great!

Elle's performance this week was SOLID! Such a strong song choice - "Ikaw". The song fits her and that spoken word was unexpected. I don't know where that came from but it worked on her advantage. A performance to beat this week!

Sheland's "Pangarap Lang" is a nice song to hear. With her talent, smile and personality, of course she nailed it. But same as Lucas, she is getting boring. I hope she chose the right song next week. An okay performance. Enjoyable but so-so.
